Eikando temple is within 5 to 10 minute walk from Nanzenji temple. As soon as I set foot in the entrance of Eikando temple, I realized that their entrance fee of 1000 yen was well justified. For me, Eikando temple has the most impressive fall foliage scene versus the other temples in Kyoto.
